#3 Gallon

'Red Head' Fountain Grass (Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Red Head') is a popular, fast-growing ornamental perennial valued for its large, smoky-burgundy bottlebrush plumes that emerge in mid-summer and persist through fall. It forms a 3-4 ft. tall, 2-3 ft. wide mound of green, arching blades that turn gold in autumn. This hardy, low-maintenance, drought-tolerant plant prefers full sun and well-drained soil.
