The October Glory® Red Maple (Acer rubrum 'October Glory') is a popular, fast-growing, deciduous shade tree known for its, brilliant, long-lasting, deep-crimson to orange-red fall color that appears later in the season than most maples. It typically grows 40–50 feet tall with a rounded shape, performing well in USDA Zones 5–9.

Watering: Requires consistent, moderate moisture, especially during dry periods, but can handle temporary flooding.
Soil: Prefers slightly acidic, well-drained soil.
Problems: Can be susceptible to aphids, scale, and iron chlorosis in high pH soils, along with potential bark splits from strong sun. Surface roots can occasionally cause sidewalk issues.
