  • Shape: Naturally dense, rounded, or conical, easily shaped by pruning.
  • Cones: Small, brown, persistent cones.
  • Growth: Slow-growing, adding only a few inches yearly. 

Growing Conditions:

  • Sun: Full sun to partial shade.
  • Soil: Well-drained, moist loam or sandy soils; tolerates clay but dislikes wet feet.
