The Green Mountain Boxwood (Buxus 'Green Mountain') is a popular, cold-hardy, broadleaf evergreen hybrid known for its upright, pyramidal shape, dense deep-green foliage, and tolerance for pruning, making it excellent for formal hedges, topiaries, or specimen plantings in full sun to partial shade, requiring well-drained soil and protection from harsh winter winds for best performance. 

Key Characteristics:

  • Form: Naturally develops a dense, upright, pyramidal or oval shape.
  • Foliage: Small, round, dark green leaves that hold color well in winter, with minimal bronzing.
