Key Care and Characteristics
Size: Generally grows to 3–4 feet high and 3–4 feet wide, though some can reach 5 feet.
Light: Full sun is best for the brightest golden color; it will tolerate partial shade, though the color may turn more lime-green.
Water & Soil: Thrives in moist, well-drained, acidic soil. It should not be allowed to dry out completely.
Maintenance: Little to no pruning is required because of its slow growth rate.
Hardiness: Zones 4–8.
