Euonymus fortunei 'Moonshadow' (Moonshadow Wintercreeper) is a hardy, compact, broadleaf evergreen shrub prized for its variegated yellow-and-green foliage, providing year-round color as a groundcover, low hedge, or cascading container plant, tolerating sun to shade and various soils but avoiding wetness, known for being low-maintenance and deer-resistant. 

Key Characteristics

  • Growth: Slow to moderate, forms a mat, doesn't require frequent heavy pruning. 
  • Foliage: Glossy, deep green leaves with bright, creamy yellow centers; stems turn red in fall, foliage takes on a pinkish hue.
  • Size: Typically 18 inches to 3 feet tall and 3 to 5 feet wide, adaptable to pruning.
