Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Hameln' (Dwarf Fountain Grass) is a popular, low-maintenance, warm-season perennial ornamental grass known for its compact, 2–3 foot high fountain-like mound of green foliage. It features distinctive, fluffy, white-to-tan bottlebrush plumes in late summer that persist into fall.
