The Duchesse de Nemours peony is a highly fragrant, award-winning heirloom (introduced 1856) featuring large, double white blooms with a creamy, lemon-yellow center. Growing 2-3 feet tall, this reliable, deer-resistant, and long-lived perennial flowers in mid-spring and is perfect for cutting gardens and borders.

  • Appearance: Double, cupped, white flowers with a yellow center, often showing a hint of green at the base.
  • Fragrance: Strong, sweet, and fruity scent.
