Doublefile Viburnum Tree Form (Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum) is a large, deciduous shrub grafted on a single trunk, celebrated for its distinctive horizontal, layered branches and showy mid-spring lacecap white flowers. It features deep green, serrated, veined leaves that turn burgundy-red in fall. This deer-resistant, low-maintenance plant prefers full sun to part shade and moist, well-drained soil.

Flowers & Fruit: Features large, flat-topped clusters of white, lace-cap flowers in April/May, followed by red berries that ripen to black in summer.

Hardiness: Zones 5-7/8.
