The Autumn Blaze® Maple (Acer x freemanii 'Jeffersred') is a fast-growing, deciduous hybrid renowned for its brilliant, long-lasting scarlet-orange fall foliage and reliable, dense oval shape. Growing 40–55 feet tall and 30–40 feet wide, this,hybrid thrives in full sun and various soils, offering a low-maintenance, drought-tolerant, and hardy shade tree option. 
Key Features and Characteristics:
Appearance: Features a dense, oval to rounded crown with green, deeply cut, five-lobed leaves.
Fall Color: Known for spectacular, intense red to orange-red color that persists longer than many other maples.
Growth Rate: Very fast-growing, often adding 2–3 feet or more in height per year.
Versatility: Highly adaptable to various soil types (clay, sand, loam) and climates, performing well in zones 3–8.
Bark: Smooth and gray when young, maturing to a darker, more furrowed texture. 
Care and Maintenance:
Sunlight: Requires full sun to partial shade, with best color achieved in full sun.
Watering: Prefers moist, well-drained soil, though it shows excellent drought tolerance once established.
